If AT lever works like the NC700/750 DCT parking brake (and I'm sure it does), the lever is locked into ON position when you engage it. You have to pull it a second time to release the lock.

Regarding tire pressure, it's important to follow the manufacturer's recommendation as stated on the sidewall of the tire. In your case, if the sidewall says 41psi (cold), then that is the recommended pressure. Higher pressure can help with fuel economy and handling, but it can also make the ride stiffer and less comfortable.
