1AiiK4. Insert a new battery. The plus contact of the battery (marked with a +) must face downwards on type 1 and passive key and upwards on type 2. Reassembling the container. Posted September 13, 2014. Hi folks, I'm part-way through a front-end (mainly nearside) rebuild of a Mk2 Focus. (I'm not a mechanic. I'm just having a go.) I've just installed a new ECM housing box. Looking at the catalogue (I think taken from FordCat) there's another part - 9F721 in the attached diagram.

The heated screens should turn themselves on if it cold enough when you start up. mine comes on aswell mate normally about 39 oF i think. my heated screens come on aswell and mines a late 07. i'm also having problems with my headunit locking out and won't come back to life till i arm/disarm the alarm system.
